Identify location of people; ads/promotions alert via text/picture message of the nearby business/organizations/events, users can see street view, walking directions, other users review and rating. People can customize preferences based on days of the week, time, within X mile, price rage, type….Basically Zagat that is location sensitive.
Locate empty parking space and parking lot with cell phone, this could be incredibly nice especially in Manhattan. Also indicate the traffic area, rules, limitations and meter-feed reminder of the parking space.
Benefits:
No one forget about where they have parked.
No one forget about feeding the meter.
Lessen the chance of misreading the parking signs.
Generally the whole society is more efficient.
Just that the government might lose this source of income significantly.
